This website has been designed to assist both mediators and clients (people in need of or getting ready to use mediation) in getting the most they can out of mediation. For mediators, it includes everything from tools for tackling child issues like school choice, custody and support to equitable distribution and how to estimate real estate values. For clients, there’s information on how mediation works, what you need to do before mediation to get ready, why mediation is a better option than litigation, and more.
Mediators, if your clients have not already visited this site, you may want to direct them to view it prior to your mediation sessions in order to facilitate a smoother session and one in which both your parties will be prepared.
Mediation can be a difficult process and there’s no need to go at it alone. Be prepared, be informed, and be empowered to make mediation work—whether it’s for you or your client. |
